Now you are going to write an essay on Thera, but on a different topic.

Write an 800 word essay (plus or minus 10%) answering the following question:

‘Discuss the connections between Thera and both the Minoan society based in Crete, and the Mycenaean society based on the Greek mainland.’
Use primary sources (eg frescoes, pottery, buildings and other artefacts) found in Akrotiri to support your statements.
